MAGICAL THINKING AMIDST OUR CRISIS

What are the uses of enchantment, wonder, and daydreams in a world of political, social, and ecological chaos? In this virtual discussion group, we will consider the ways that magical thinking might become a catalyst for change, or is perhaps simply a means of survival.

Readings will come from such diverse thinkers, artists, and poets as: Fred Moten, Audre Lorde, Kathleen Stewart, Bjork, Jan Verwoert, Tyson Yunkaporta, Jane Bennett, and Showkat Kathjoo.

How do we access the materials for this reading room?

Readings will be provided as PDFs. Optionally, readings can also be mailed as a physical reading packet, provided at cost.
